Baby Jeremiah – Dallas Newborn Photographer

We’ve been wanting to do a newborn photo session for a loooonnggg time, but newborn sessions are kind of difficult because you need a newborn! They’re done in the first 10 days after birth so you have to coordinate beforehand with the family and get props, clothes, little hats and all the other things that go with newborn shoots so you’re ready when that day finally comes.

Another thing you need for clients to hire you for newborns is pictures of other newborns you’ve photographed. We didn’t have either….until last week :) Amanda and Martin had a beautiful baby boy and they were kind enough to have trust in our photographic abilities to let us shoot their baby! We had lots of ideas for this shoot and we only had time for a few of them.

We can’t wait until the next shoot to bring some more ideas to life! We had so much fun photographing this little guy. If you’re having a baby and would like pictures, please contact us!

Kim + James…real troopers! | Wedding Photographer

Sometimes when you meet two people, you can just tell how in love they are. James and Kim are those people. The way they talk, look at each other, and hold hands just gushes with love! Larissa and I had a wonderful time at this photoshoot even though it was cold!! The photos don’t show because these two are real troopers…. About half way through the shoot, we had to stop for hot chocolate just to warm up! My fingers were so cold that I could hardly press the shutter button, so it was a welcomed resting spot for us as well.

We took a nice variety of shots in the city and at a nice little garden we have nearby, so we’re excited to show off these pics!

This is where we had to stop for a little break….the pastries at this bakery look soooo good. But I resisted!!

So Many Family Christmas Portraits!!!

Well, we never uploaded all of the Christmas portraits that we had taken this season because we were so busy, but here are a few of our favorites, but just a few! There are just too many to post!

It is such a blessing to get to know so many different people, hear their stories, and spend some time with them. Wow, and to think this is our job… we just love it… we are so incredibly honored. Thank you all for choosing us to make these memories for your family!

We had a really good time taking family portraits for the Kibodeaux family today! Eric and Melanie have a beautiful family and we’re blessed to get to know them. The whole family looks good! We’re getting ready for a camping trip, so we only had time to edit a few after today’s shoot. Look for more of this family after the New Year. Happy New Years Everyone!!

This little girl was a delight, and really fun to photograph. She has such pretty whispy hair, huge blue eyes, and the smoothest skin! She really didn’t want to smile for us, but we managed to get a few!! The shots are so pretty simply because she’s as pretty as a doll, and when the light hits those big blue eyes, it is just captivating! Happy 2nd Birthday Eva!

This was just the most precious, cutest little boy! He was such a wonderful little model, and he loved his “pia-pizes” (surprises / lollipops) that his mother had with her! Too cute! His mom dressed him in the perfect outfit for the location, which gave us some fabulous vintage shots. She just told me yesterday that a modeling agency contacted her after randomly seeing these photos on their Christmas card and they want him to model! How exciting! Good luck Landon!

Kim’s Bridals – Piazza in the Village – Colleyville, Texas

We wanted to try a new location for Kim’s bridals, so we went to a local spot that has a classic, timeless, and almost European feel right here in Colleyville! The Colleyville Piazza In the Village is a great wedding location and has some great areas for bridals! This location was perfect for her dress! (can you tell we’re excited!) The combination of her vintage dress with the flower in her hair was perfect. We’ve had many requests for this location because of these pics. I really does make a difference when your dress matches your hair and location…. it all flows together. We love bridals! She loves to smile, so Kim made this shoot very easy for us! It was so much fun!

Kim and Mark are engaged!! These two met at the dog park, so it was only appropriate to include the dogs as part of the engagement shoot. We loved Roary’s shaggy hair and Little Man’s cute little face! Look for the bridal and wedding pics soon!

Congratulations! We’re so excited for Chaunva & Jamie. Chaunva’s my sister so I’m kind of partial to this wedding. Everything was beautiful and Chapelle Des Fleurs did an amazing job with everything. They’re located in Flower Mound, Texas so check them out if you want to have your wedding and reception at the same spot. I was in this wedding, so I wasn’t the primary shooter, but I brought my camera and got some really good shots! It was a beautiful wedding so I just couldn’t resist!

We planned to go take Melissa and Brayden’s pics on Saturday, but the rain just wouldn’t stop! Luckily things were all clear for Sunday. We had a great time shooting Melissa and Brayden and the little guy is a natural. He knew exactly how to pose and do what we told him to do. Good job Brayden!

We had a wonderful time with Heather & Bert! We went to Main St., Grapevine to get some pictures for their engagment shoot. The weather was wonderful and we had a good time. We can’t wait until the wedding in April!

Heather’s Laugh is addictive, and her bubbly personality brings out the soft side of Bert. We really wanted to capture these two in the moment, just having a good time!
