We’ve been wanting to do a newborn photo session for a loooonnggg time, but newborn sessions are kind of difficult because you need a newborn! They’re done in the first 10 days after birth so you have to coordinate beforehand with the family and get props, clothes, little hats and all the other things that go with newborn shoots so you’re ready when that day finally comes.
Another thing you need for clients to hire you for newborns is pictures of other newborns you’ve photographed. We didn’t have either….until last week :) Amanda and Martin had a beautiful baby boy and they were kind enough to have trust in our photographic abilities to let us shoot their baby! We had lots of ideas for this shoot and we only had time for a few of them.
We can’t wait until the next shoot to bring some more ideas to life! We had so much fun photographing this little guy. If you’re having a baby and would like pictures, please contact us!

We are way behind on blog post so get ready for the flood! We’ve dedicated all of today to get our new shoots online and we’re starting with Ainsley Grace. This beautiful baby girl is 6 days and she was sooo sweet! She slept like a rock and was willing to get into almost any pose we wanted. Almost being the key word ;)
