I’m kind of a processing addict when it comes to our pictures. I want every picture to be just right. Lighting, skin tones, you name it! I’m usually online browsing hundreds of pictures looking for aspects I like and dislike about each. The more I do this, the more I find my identity when taking pictures and fine tune my own processing.
There are so many options when processing a picture!! I love vibrant and clear pictures, I love the new black and white effect we made, but I wanted to come up with a cool, vintage like effect as well. We put together this new effect that I like to call “Vintage Blue”.
Mr. Brett Maxwell, an awesome Michigan Photographer, likes to see before and after shots, so this is just for him. In the pic below, A is Vibrant and Clear and B is Vintage Blue. I love them both but it gives us another option that we really like! This will look awesome on our new Wedding Photos!

Chatelain Family: Ethan’s 6mos old!
Ethan is turning 6 months old so Wayne and Connie wanted to take out the whole family to get some nice pictures. The weather has been beautiful so we thought bluebonnets would be nice, but where are the bluebonnets this year! We’re usually overflowing with them and we can hardly find a patch this year. Oh well, on to plan B :)
We have a beautiful botanical garden in our neck of the woods so we thought it would be a wonderful location to take the Chatelain family. The tulips are growing quite nicely and the weather was nice and cool. We had a lovely time talking with Wayne and Connie while we waited for Ethan to cooperate. He was quite needy for his apple juice…lol. Once he cooled off and his tummy was filled to the rim, we had a good time.
Here are our favorites! Happy 1/2 Birthday Ethan!
