Congratulations Lee and Justin!! Lee and Justin got married this past weekend and we have been so excited to show everyone her gorgeous bridals! She is so stunning, and she is just as beautiful on the inside. We just love this couple, and we have had such a wonderful time with them throughout their wedding process. We will miss them. It is funny, when Chavvon and I are REALLY excited about a wedding, we both secretly try to rush and be the author that posts the blog entry! This wedding was that good, and we came to a truce. We are posting this blog entry together, by Chavvon & Larissa! Ha!

I know that we just said in the last entry that we hate to do marathon blogging, but you will have to excuse us on this one. This entry is only the portraits! This couple was amazing! Photogenic, genuine, fun, and LOVED to take pictures!! They gave us an entire hour and a half to take pictures of just the two of them after the ceremony! This doesn’t even include the portraits that we took during the “steal away session” at the reception!

Here are some of our absolute favorites! We will be posting the wedding soon!

Wow, wow, wow!! This location, a hidden convent in Dallas, had the most awesome corridor of trees with the BEST lighting!! We could have stayed there all evening!

They really wanted to stop at their favorite hangout in Dallas which is a cute pizza place called Eno’s.

Katie’s Bridal Session | Dallas Wedding Photographers

We are so happy that we can finally post these pictures!

Katie made this session so easy for us, with her gorgeous red hair (red heads always photograph well), and then to her tall, slender, model figure! She really wanted some classic bridal shots, nothing to contemporary or crazy, just classic, simple, and beautiful. One of our favorite places to go for this type of shoot is Arlington Hall in Dallas. What a great day, getting great shots, of a great girl! It was fun Katie!

By the way, as you will see below, Chavvon and I just couldn’t resist getting a few “not so traditional” shots! Here are some of our favorites…

Julie’s Bridals | Dallas Wedding Photographers

Jessica & Jared | Dallas Wedding Photography

We love shooting at new locations, and this was a place we had never been before. It is a new chapel in Aubrey, TX called Harmony Chapel. It’s funny, even though we had some great places to shoot around the chapel, Chavvon and I absolutely LOVED the quaint road that runs right in front of the chapel. Along the side of the property was a great rustic fence with a great field right behind it, making it the perfect spot to get some shots. Since we were shooting earlier in the day, the trees made the perfect canopy for us. Congratulations on your wedding Jessica and Jared, thanks for allowing us to be a part of it!

Jacquelyn & Jeremy at Paradise Cove | Dallas Wedding Photographers

We absolutely have the best clients. We really love our job, but I must say, a HUGE part of enjoying this work as much as we do, is our fabulous clients. Jacquelyn and her mother Tammy, were nothing but wonderful, and we really enjoyed getting to know them! They did a beautiful job pulling together the turquoise and gold details, from the bouquets to the candy jars! This couple is surrounded by so much love. It was an honor to be a part of their day. Thank you Jacquelyn, Jeremy, and Tammy :), for allowing us to be a part of this special day! Congratulations!

We found the perfect lighting to grab this shot, she looks amazing!

These girls were troopers! Chavvon and I wanted to get some shots by a small wooded area by the lake, so they walked through the grass with no shoes, that way no mud would get on their heels!! Thanks ladies!

By the way, if you didn’t notice, the father of the bride is also the pastor. So sweet. He did such a wonderful job, one of the best weddings I have ever heard.

The staff at Paradise Cove was awesome!!! They are some of the the most organized, and prepared venues we have ever worked at! They truly go above and beyond, for example, they brought the wedding party coctails to enjoy before and during the photographs.

Ashley Johnson Bridal Shoot – Dallas Wedding Photography

The Dallas Arboretum is one of our favorite spots to do a bridal shoot! There are so many beautiful gardens, fountains, benches… well, I could go on and on! The wind was really fighting us on this day… but it all worked out! They turned out great… and the wind was even a cool effect on her veil on some of the pictures!
