This was just the most precious, cutest little boy! He was such a wonderful little model, and he loved his “pia-pizes” (surprises / lollipops) that his mother had with her! Too cute! His mom dressed him in the perfect outfit for the location, which gave us some fabulous vintage shots. She just told me yesterday that a modeling agency contacted her after randomly seeing these photos on their Christmas card and they want him to model! How exciting! Good luck Landon!

Dan and MacKensie’s Day After – Dallas Wedding Photography
We had so much fun in Los Cabos with this awesome couple! We had been hoping that MacKensie would be willing to do a Day After Session, but she didn’t seem to really like the idea….. until her family helped us out!! It was so funny how everyone was really encouraging her to go ahead and get her dress wet! Comments like, ” my dress had been in my attic since my wedding! “, and ” I don’t even know where my dress is! ” were hilarious! So, the night of the wedding, she let us know that she wanted to go ahead and do it. The beach in Cabo is actually small pieces of corral, so in the end, after the corral exfoliation (lol…our feet were killing us), then the chlorine wash, the dress looked like new! It was sooo worth it! Thank you to all of the friends and family that persuaded MacKensie to do this… now you can really see that they had a beautiful beach wedding!

Dan + MacKensie’s Wedding {Hilton, Los Cabos}
We’ve known Dan & MacKensie for a few years. When they told us they were getting married we were pretty excited. At first, they were just going to use the photographer provided by the hotel, but we used some scare tactics to get this wedding job…lol. We couldn’t resist the chance for a destination wedding! Not really…we did their engagement and bridal pictures and they were happy with the results so they asked us to come to Mexico! Yippee!
It was a nice wedding with only Dan & Mackensie’s closest friends, so they really had a chance to spend the whole weekend with people that meant the most to them. The beach in Los Cabos is amazing and the pictures don’t really do it justice, it was so beautiful, we enjoyed it. We had a great time meeting all of Dan and MacKensie’s family and friends and we were honored to be a part of their special day. They’re really surrounded by a good group of family and friends.
We were even able to do a day after shoot. Check it out after you’re done viewing these pics!

Kim + Mark Wedding! – Dallas Wedding Photography
Kim and Mark are two very good friends of ours. When they decided to get married we were too excited! The wedding was wonderful and Kim and Mark are surrounded by a great group of family and friends. There was never a dull moment and we had a good time with everyone! We met some great people that we’re sure to keep in touch with. You can view a few of the pics below!

Kim’s Bridals – Dallas Wedding Photography
We wanted to try a new location for Kim’s bridals, so we went to a local spot that has a classic, timeless, and almost European feel right here in Colleyville! This location was perfect for her dress! (can you tell we’re excited!) The combination of her vintage dress with the flower in her hair was perfect. We’ve had many requests for this location because of these pics. I really does make a difference when your dress matches your hair and location…. it all flows together. We love bridals! She loves to smile, so Kim made this shoot very easy for us! It was so much fun!

A new lens: Sigma 50mm 1.4 – Dallas Wedding Photography
I’ve been debating between the Sigma and Nikon 50mm 1.4 on my D700 for a few months and finally decided to get a hold of both of them before I made a decision. We did a wedding a couple of weeks ago in Los Cabos, Mexico and I got a chance to use the Nikon 50mm 1.4G. (For all you tech heads, I’ll do a technical comparison in the near future). In a nutshell, I wasn’t overly excited about the lens. I then went ahead and purchased the Sigma 50mm 1.4 and I’ve been more than happy with the results. Here are a couple of pics taken from a photo shoot this past weekend. thoughts?

Cool Image Downloads! (screensavers/backgrounds)
We usually take pictures of people, but we decided to go out and put a cool little set of images to use as screensavers, backgrounds, etc. Feel free to download the set as screensavers or whatever you’d like them for. Tres’ Senior Portraits
We had fun getting Tres’ senior pictures done at our last photo shoot. We got lucky and snuck in a one hour photo session in between thunderstorms this week. The cloud cover was a big help with the lighting! View all the pics below.

Kim + Mark Engagement! – Dallas Wedding Photography
Kim and Mark are engaged!! These two met at the dog park, so it was only appropriate to include the dogs as part of the engagement shoot. We loved Roary’s shaggy hair and Little Man’s cute little face! Look for the bridal and wedding pics soon!

Afternoon with Eva
This little girl was a delight, and really fun to photograph. She has such pretty whispy hair, huge blue eyes, and the smoothest skin! She really didn’t want to smile for us, but we managed to get a few!! The shots are so pretty simply because she’s as pretty as a doll, and when the light hits those big blue eyes, it is just captivating! Happy 2nd Birthday Eva!
