We use a minimum of two photographers for all weddings and events. Portrait sessions (bridal, engagement, & day after) could be one photographer, but 95% of the time, it’s two as well.
How long do you shoot on wedding day?
We will shoot your wedding for up to 8 hours. We always hope to get the bride getting ready, and watch the bride and groom drive away! In most cases, 8 hours is plenty of time, but please contact us if you have other requirements.
Flash isn’t allowed at our wedding location, what do I do!?
The camera equipment we use was built to shoot in extreme low light situations. Our cameras see light better than our eyes do! It’s not a problem at all. View some of our low light reception pics to get an idea how dark things can be.
What Should I Wear?
Be fun and creative! Wear nice earth tone colors and lots of layers! Layers are the style right now. Brighter colors are ok too, but just be sure to wear colors that compliment your skin tones. Contact us and we’ll gladly make a recommendation.
What Kind of Equipment Do You Use?
Chavvon & Larissa Photography shoots with Nikon equipment. Specifically the D700 cameras. We feel like Nikon gives us the best opportunity to capture the perfect shots for our clients. We have an assortment of lenses to make sure we capture that perfect moment! Our equipment is great for extreme low light.
Do You Travel?
Most of our work is Dallas, Texas wedding photography, but we do travel to other nearby cities fairly often. We are willing to travel to other destinations (and cities) for our wonderful clients as well! Contact us to check availability for your location and date.
Do I Receive All of My Images?
Chavvon & Larissa Photography delivers all of the raw images from weddings on a DVD or flash drive to all clients with a limited copyright release. If wedding clients buy an album, they also receive the edited pictures on a flash drive. Portrait clients have the option to buy edited images only.
What Can I Do With My Images?
All clients receive a limited copyright release for all images that allows you to print as many copies of the images as you’d like. The copyright does not allow you to sell, transfer or give images or rights to anyone else.
How Do You Light Your Images?
Whenever possible, we use 100% natural lighting. This allows us to capture the mood of the wedding or location where we are shooting. We use off camera flash when lighting is extremely low.
