It is so easy to go day to day and take for granted the people in our lives that make our lives wonderful. Chavvon, you are the best daddy in the world. I see you inspire our babies to do bigger and better things, and you love them so much. The kids know how much you love photography, so they pretty much took over this session. Lasting only 15 minutes was their first rule, (especially since Brice can’t stand the sun in his eyes), and they had to get one in their sunglasses. So cute.
You know, in a way, I am thankful that it is so normal for you to be such a great husband and father that we CAN take it for granted. It is not a “once in a while” thing for you to make us all laugh, be encouraging, or surprise us with bringing home cupcakes. :) You always show us how much you love us. For that, I am the luckiest woman in the world. God must really love me to bless me with someone like you.

Christi & Ari’s Mira Vista Wedding | Fort Worth Wedding Photographer
It is rare for our clients to book us without a consultation or conference call, simply because we encourage it so that we can get to know our clients as well, so I must say when we met Christi and Ari, we were so pleasantly surprised how much we enjoyed spending the day with them! They were laid back and grateful, enjoying each moment as the day went on. It never gets old seeing a bride and groom look at each other on their wedding day. There is something so exciting and also tender about it. Christi and Ari wanted to do a “first look” session before the wedding, and we were so excited about that also. They didn’t want to take any time between the ceremony and reception for photos, so we handled all of that beforehand. Since we did it beforehand, we had extra time to get some great shots at the most beautiful home!
One of our favorite moments of the day, was when we were with all of the ladies in the master bedroom getting the “getting ready” shots. Ari’s family is from Lithuania, and his parents do not speak English, so there was a language barrier between the families. It was inspiring to me to see, even without speaking to one another, the mothers of the bride and groom showing each other so much affection toward each other. Helping each other get ready, telling each other they look fantastic, hugging – it was so touching. Without saying a word, the groom’s mother was a big part of getting her new daughter-in-law ready to marry her son, and you could tell she was so happy that they were getting married.
We knew this house was going to be nice. The bride had told us just a few details of the home, and we were really excited about this wedding! As we rounded the corner and the house was in sight, we realized, we had no idea just how nice! We looked at each other and smiled, then went ahead and parked. We have been in some huge houses, but we have realized that just because a house is big, it does not mean that it will be decorated nicely or have an interior to match the exterior. Hoping that the interior was equally as beautiful as the outside, we walked to the front door and boy were we in for a surprise… it was better!! Antiques, chandeliers, and hand painted murals, gold moldings, stone floors, and magnificent furniture, this home was better than any venue anywhere!!
